Not many leagues in the world can have nearly half the teams competing, capable of challenging for Champions League football.
Who do I think is Favourite?
Manchester City of course, are everyone’s favourites for the title meaning another year of Champions League qualification. There’s a little more pressure after lifting the trophy last season.

But what about the rest?
Leaving Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham without a top 4 finish. All 3 clubs are more than capable of pushing for UCL and also a huge point to prove!
Furthermore, Brighton and Aston Villa will feel that they are able to build on their impressive finish last season and go one step further.
For Arsenal, the additions of Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber has massively bolstered their squad helping to deal with a title challenge but also a successful Champions League campaign.
Manchester United or Liverpool?
Both Manchester United and Liverpool are very similar in terms of odds for a top four finish but it’s the Merseyside team that I think will cement 3rd place at a minimum! But with United’s additions of Onana in goal and Mason Mount along with the imminent arrival of Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, Manchester United could look very dangerous if Erik Ten Haag can get it right at Old Trafford!
Finally for Liverpool, their lack of depth and legs in midfield was obvious last season and the additions of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai will make a huge impact for the Reds but the departure of captain Jordon Henderson and Fabinho means Liverpool still need to make additions in the transfer market.
