Monday night football under the lights at Wetherby Road – this one should be a fun watch. Harrogate host Crewe in what looks like a tight League Two clash.
Harrogate are starting to find their feet again, coming into this one off a couple of solid results and back-to-back clean sheets. The fans will be hoping they can finally break their bad run against Crewe, though — they’ve never beaten them before. The big question is whether they can keep that defensive discipline going while finding a bit more spark up front.
Crewe, on the other hand, started the season flying but have been a bit up and down lately. A gritty 2–1 win over Notts County last time out might’ve given them some confidence again. Josh March has been their danger man so far — if he’s in the mood, Harrogate could have problems. The downside for Crewe is at the back; they’ve been leaking goals and don’t look totally settled defensively.
Most tipsters reckon it’ll be a cagey one — under 2.5 goals seems the popular shout. Expect a scrappy battle, plenty of energy, and maybe one moment of quality to decide it. Don’t be shocked if Harrogate nick it late, but Crewe will fancy themselves to grab something too.
