The foxes host Brentford at the King Power Stadium on Sunday with both teams hoping to start the season on the right foot. Leicester had a season to forget last season finishing in 9th place, whilst Brentford will be looking to improve their league position. Brentford got off to a flyer last season in their opener at home to Arsenal but I hope second season syndrome does not kick in.
Leicester have not had it all their way in Preseason losing games to Notts County for example. The same can be said for Brentford who have been poor and they are coming off a heavy 4-0 loss to Wolfsburg. They did however beat Brighton through an Ivan Toney goal and I am expecting big things from the big towering forward this season. Jamie Vardy will be fresh back from a good pre season but I am not too sure he will get so much service with speculation mounting over the future of James Maddison. Leicester will be without their club captain Kasper Schmeichel which is a weird departure and I feel they will struggle without him in goal this season/
