My Fantasy Premier League Tips

I always get so excited when the season starts because it means Fantasy Football has also begun. I like to enter a number of leagues with my mates and we play for a small wager. The problem is many of my friends often lose interest after they are too far behind and I end up winning it all😊. There are a number of rules that I like to follow and you should take them on board too.

  • Know when to transfer in and when to transfer out. The FPL updates a players value based on how many people transfer a player in and a player out. This means that you should be ready to make your transfers before everyone else to get a better value. If a player has had a bad game, do not wait to transfer him out. Boot him out immediately.
  • Spend your money wisely. Don’t buy highly valued goalkeepers or defenders. Look for a Bargin. I like Nicky Henderson’s confidence and price. do not buy defenders too expense too. I like 3 defenders leaving room for my midfielder and strikers to pick up the bonus points.
  • Look at where FPL can get it wrong. For example Perisic will play left back this season but he’s more attacking so he could be a very good player in your team contributing to both goals and assists.
  • You need to jump on the bandwagon sometimes. This means signing the very best. Do not wait for a player to rack up 100 points before you decide to go for him. Get them in Early. Salah and Kane Anyone ?
  • Don’t waste your money on players who are good on the pitch , but don’t pick up any points! Kante always springs to mind. He’s often the player who passes the ball to the player who passes the ball for a goal.
  • Remain patient. There is a huge temptation to change your time early. Don’t! Make sure you research you fixtures and team news very often. We are spoilt for choice in today’s world of information.

Remember it’s all about having fun and staying in the game for as long as you possibly can.
