France should be more than ready for this game, after having the opportunity to play a much-changed side in their final group game against Tunisia. I don’t think anyone expected Tunisia to win the game 1-0 but it didn’t change the outcome of the group, with France finishing 1st on goal difference. As for Poland, it was a very average group stage (W1, D1, L1). Capped off by a 2-0 loss to Argentina, meaning at one stage, Poland were going through based on having the least number of bookings compared to Saudi Arabia! They eventually managed to pull one back against Mexico meaning that Saudi Arabia lost 2-1, with Poland progressing through on goal difference.Poland have averaged 33% possession across their 3 group stage games with an average of 2 shots on target per game! They have failed to really dominate a game so far in this tournament and haven’t shown anything that would make us think they have a chance against the current World Cup holders.Although France have failed to keep a clean sheet so far in this tournament- against teams/players that offer less of a threat than Poland’s Robert Lewandowski. France have averaged 5 shots on target across their three group stage games scoring a total of 6 goals in their first 2 with a shock 1-0 defeat in their final group game.I firmly believe this will be a somewhat simple task for the French, with fresh legs, they will be raring to go.Poland haven’t seen a game where both sides have found the net in their previous 7! So, Poland will be hoping they can strike first.Bet Prediction: France Win
