Bournemouth vs Luton

Bournemouth come into this game in fine form. In fact, the joint best in the league alongside leaders Liverpool. 4 wins and a draw in the last 5 for The Cherries, who have found the net in each of their last 9 games. Although back to back losses for Luton against Arsenal and Man City, they will take great pride in pushing them both and finding the net in the two fixtures and losing by just a single goal. They have surprisingly found the net in all of their last 4 and 9 of the last 11 in all competitions. I fully expect to see both sides find the net in this one too.

Chelsea vs Sheffield United

The return of Chris Wilder has given Sheffield United fans a glimmer of hope but the returning manager has a hell of a job on his hands to lift them from the bottom of the table. A 1-0 win last week gives them a bit of confidence going to Stamford Bridge but Chelsea have won the last two meetings seeing 3 goals or less. Sheffield United are without a win in 7 games on the road and although Wilder will improve them defensively, I don’t think it will be enough for them to get anything out of this one. Chelsea have only managed an average of 1.8 goals per game in the last 5 so I don’t expect to see a large amount of goals in this game.

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace

The treble winners finally got back to winning ways last weekend after picking up their first 3 points in 5 premier league games! They face  Crystal Palace side who look nothing short of abysmal. 5 games without a win and only one in the last 9! City have registered at least a goal in over 28 games in all competitions, against a Palace side who can’t keep their opponents out at all. 2 clean sheets in 7 away games spells trouble when travelling to the Etihad. If Haaland is fit for this one, I can see Manchester City getting a hatful.

Newcastle vs Fulham

Fresh from their UCL exit, Newcastle host an inform Fulham who will look to make the Magpies week worse. 3 losses in a row in all competitions for Howe’s men against a Fulham side who have netted 16 goals in their last 4 games! It’s hard not to be backing Fulham not to score in this one, especially with the inury it they have and the disappointment and potential fatigue from midweek. Newcastle are unbeaten in the last 6 meetings against Fulham with 2 of the last 4 seeing both sides hit the back of the net.

Burnley vs Everton

It’s relegation battle between these two at the moment with the home side showing no sign they have any fight left in them already. With only 8 points and the second worst defensive record (34) in the league I struggle to see Burnley getting anything out of this game. Just one win and collecting a total of 4 points in their last 9 games Burnley are in trouble. Everton come into this game in high spirits with just one defeat and one draw in their last 8 games. Of course if it wasn’t for their point deduction they’d sat in 10th.
